Our story

Journalist by conviction ... winemaker by passion ! Laetitia has two jobs. What do they have in common ? Curiosity, meetings, sharing ... For her, making wine is an author's work, a profession of expression. She loves atypical vintages and campaigns for the preservation of rare grape varieties. Her profession of faith? As long as there are vines, there is hope! Louis, my grandfather, created the estate in 1954. He settled in Théüs, a small perched village in the Southern Alps, told by Giono in "le Hussard sur le toit". The terroir there is magnificent! My father, Marc, then followed in his footsteps and fought to save the local grape variety which was tending to disappear. Today, I'm taking up the torch again. I would like to take my turn in this family history, to continue to fight for biodiversity and the preservation of our environment. I am very attached to my region and I hope to make the wines of my terroir travel and be known all over the world!

Other little stories

Eternal lover of ancient grape varieties and atypical wines, I militate alongside my father, Marc, to fight against the standardization and uniformity of tastes. I am for the diversity of aromas and pleasures. Did you know that about ten grape varieties are used to produce 80% of the wines in France. Yet there are many others! Twenty years ago, we decided to bring one of them up to date, and it is quite naturally the Mollard, a traditional grape variety from our region, that we have chosen to highlight, with the support of the Institut Français de la Vigne (French Vine Institute). Nowadays, more and more consumers who wish to find originality in their glasses are encouraging us in this approach. I hope that you will soon be part of the Mollard enthusiasts! Lovers of discoveries, finders of atypical wines? Our estate will please you! In a region still little known for its wines, yet so prized by wine lovers, we have saved a local grape variety that you will find nowhere else: Mollard. Its name is surprising; but you should know that "Mollard" means "small mountain" or "little mountain" in our region! This red grape variety with spicy notes is emblematic of the Hautes-Alpes. We are proud to have given it back its letters of nobility!"
