Close to the Beaune wines of which it is a part, the Côte de Beaune Les Monts Battois is a white wine with vivacity and brilliance in the gold of a sustained robe. The lemony aromas of citrus fruit and fresh grass fill the bouquet. Round, supple and with good acid support, it expresses in the mouth all the charm of the fruit with a touch of minerality and often ends on the hazelnut.
Not very extensive, the CÔTE DE BEAUNE appellation produces one third of the whites (chardonnay) and two thirds of the reds (pinot noir). We are located here on the heights of the Montagne de Beaune, at an altitude of 300-370 metres, on the balcony and just above the Premier Crus.
To be served as an aperitif! From now on, and to keep for up to 5 years. Serve between 12 and 14°C
The emblematic roundness of the chardonnay on a background of liveliness and lemony aromas will be the privileged partner of poultry in white sauce, but also of seafood pasta and risottos, not forgetting the multitude of agreements with steamed or poached seawater fish. Cheeses: Comté, Beaufort, Gruyère and goat's cheese.
