The robe, yellow gold, limpid, gives a glimpse of a wine representative of its appellation. The fruity nose is intense, with notes of pineapple, pear... On the palate, the minerality and tension are pleasantly enhanced by notes of lemon. One fully appreciates its beautiful length and its mineral finish.
The vineyard, in the Viré-Clessé appellation, benefits from a generous amount of sunshine because of its easterly exposure, facing the Saône river. Our vines are located halfway up the slope, and sink their roots in marly-limestone soils, which are stony to perfection: Chardonnay is a perfect match for them.
Served between 11 and 14°C, this wine is as harmonious as it is expressive.
Tapas, dry ham in chifonade, cubes of comté cheese, a few verrines and it's off for a convivial aperitif, around a very charming wine. At the table it will be very appropriate around Asian notes.
