This 100% Carignan has a generous je-ne-sais-quoi that carries us languidly through its 50-year-old vineyard. Flattered by an atypical maturation, in sandstone ovoids, Joseph evokes comforting notes that recall the advice of a benevolent grandfather.

Ces vignes de Carignan ont beau avoir 50 ans, comme le proclame fièrement la bouteille, cela donne un vin un peu vineux, vulgaire, ni très aromatique ni très équilibré. Cela n'a rien à voir avec un pur Carignan en macération carbonique comme la cuvée "Quesaquo" du Chateau d'Or et de Gueules, en Costières de Nîmes, aussi vendu sur ce site, un peu plus cher certes, mais autant mettre un peu plus pour avoir un vrai bon vin.
