Rather intense, clear and brilliant gold colour. Nose on floral notes (acacia flower) with a fine woodiness, is starting to open up nicely. Very intense taste, fresh and complex, with the typical richness and roundness of the vintage.
Despite the name of the place, Les Obus has nothing to do with explosives (it is derived from an ancient Gallic word indicating the color of the earth). Nevertheless, this white is explosive in this solar vintage.
This white is opening up, it will express itself completely during the summer of 2020; then to drink or to keep a maximum of three years in a good cellar.
Serve at 12° - 14° on a smoked fish starter, a fish dish such as salmon in sauce or veal (in blanquette, why not).
