The colour is between straw and gold, it is intense and brilliant. The nose has notes of pear, honey and slightly toasted spices. After aeration, it becomes finer and more complex. In the mouth, we find a sharp acidity. The finish is invigorating and then ends with notes of pear and spices.
Beautiful expression of the chenin in slight overripeness on a beautiful clay-flint soil.
A true wine of pleasure, to be enjoyed now or kept for 4 years ideally, the terroir will reveal itself even more.
As an aperitif for dinner with fish and cheese toasts. As an accompaniment to white meat in a veal blanquette sauce.
