Intense aromas of cherries macerated in alcohol, very ripe fruit, but also herbs such as bay leaf and grey pepper; nose that evolves with agitation on delicate scents of garrigue. The harmonious, caressing and well-structured palate confirms the Mediterranean flavours, in a palate with well-integrated and tasty tannins. It's a southern wine!

The Wine Estate

Located on the slopes of the Cévennes foothills, between the valleys of the Gardon and the garrigues, the Saint Jean de Serres vineyard is located on the edge of the Languedoc and the Rhône valleys, on clay and limestone soils. The ancestral grape varieties of Carignan, Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah are blended with the more recently established Viognier, Merlot and Chardonnay. We harvest the black grapes by hand from selected plots, so q....
