The Juliénas appellation, one of the ten crus of the Beaujolais vineyard, is located on a magnificent terroir between the different slopes of the south-facing region, on the best parcels of the estate. The vines here are almost a hundred years old. On the wine side, a fruity nose with aromas of candied black fruits, liquorice and roasted coffee. A wine made from a special vintage where only the terroir is expressed to reveal complexity, nobility and great ageing potential. An elegant and very well structured wine!

The Wine Estate

Located in a wonderful terroir, between Beaujolais and Burgundy, Domaine des Chers is a family estate born in 1956 and which extends over 5 hectares concentrated on the most beautiful parcels of the vineyard with the appellations Saint-Amour and Juliénas. Arnaud Briday, the winegrower, sets up here a reasoned culture of his vines to offer you a quality wine.

Une belle bouteille que cette cuvée "le secret de mon père". Il a bien fait de transmettre son secret ! Un gamay puissant, expressif, fruité. Elle se conservera de nombreuses années, mais vous pouvez la boire maintenant à condition pour moi de la carafer plusieurs heures avant. Elle accompagnera parfaitement comme je l'ai fait des rognons de veau, mais aussi gibier, viande rouge, pot au feu, ou bien des fromages tels le Pont Lévêque...
