The Wine Estate

Located in Chalonnes-sur-Loire, in the heart of the Anjou Noir region, the Domaine des Coteaux Blancs, takes its name from the sloping terroirs on which were once nestled white stones that have now disappeared. On these steep sunny slopes (some of them reach 40% slope) we produce great white wines, made from Chenin, but also some Anjou Rouge, Coteaux du Layon, Rosé de Loire on about twenty hectares: a colourful range of wines in a style that is certainly Loire style. The Hilpert family's passion for wine led them to acquire this beautiful property in 2015, as they were not born in the wine world, but our family surrounded themselves from the very beginning of this adventure. Modesty Banchereau orchestrates the technical part from the grape to the wine accompanied by Sylvain and Mickaël. Thibaud Boudignon, emeritus winemaker of Anjou, brings his advice to obtain the most beautiful expression of our terroir. We work in an eco-responsible approach always in search of improvement.

Nez très gourmand, on sent bien les fruits rouges. En bouche on reconnait bien le cabernet franc. Un léger côté herbacé que j'aime beaucoup
