Dress A clear and sparkling wine, with a pale gold colour that is more intense than that of its younger brother. Nose The nose literally explodes with mineral notes of stones and flint. These same notes that can be found on the Grands Crus located a few meters away. A rich nose that opens with the tenderness of fruit in syrup and apple, it does not forget the discreet floral and vegetal notes of lily and honeysuckle. Mouth The palate follows this style far from the characteristics of a classic Petit Chablis, offering remarkable balance and delicacy. Full while keeping a beautiful vivacity, we find notes of apple and pear and always, at the end of the palate, a mineral and fruity line that never seems to want to disappear.
Incredible expression of chardonnay on the Chablis terroir, mineral, powerful and salty at the same time. It is no coincidence that this parcel has kept the name of the Grand Cru "Les Clos". Between you and me, I must admit I have a real weakness for this wine.
Surprising and almost exotic, it is a wine to be served to amateurs and connoisseurs for an unadorned tasting.
Operating temperature: 10°C
Aging potential: To be drunk very young on the strength and freshness, it can be aged in the cellar for 5 to 7 years.
During a meal composed for a special occasion. It goes very well with a Chablis andouillette, salmon with sorrel, old cheddar cheese, bluefin tuna sashimi and oysters.
