Domaine Dominique Gruhier - Petit Chablis sur les Clos - Blanc - 2020

Robe A limpid and sparkling wine, of a more sustained pale gold than that of its little brother. Nose The nose literally explodes with mineral notes of pebbles and flint. These same notes can be found on the Grands Crus located a few meters away. Rich nose that opens on the tenderness of fruits in syrup and apple, it does not forget floral and vegetal notes of lily and honeysuckle. Mouth The mouth follows this style far from the characteristics of a classic Petit Chablis by offering a remarkable balance and greediness. Ample while keeping a beautiful vivacity, we find notes of apple and pear and always, at the end of the mouth, a mineral and fruity line which seems never to disappear.

Incredible expression of chardonnay on the Chablis terroir, mineral, powerful and salty at the same time. It is no coincidence that this parcel has kept the name of the Grand Cru "Les Clos". Between you and me, I must admit I have a real weakness for this wine.
