Very beautiful garnet red colour with ruby reflections. Nose of red fruits (raspberry, redcurrant), black fruits (blueberry, blackberry). Silky tannic attack, with pepper, musk and garrigue flavours, with a structured palate of black fruits (figs), fresh leather, with a nice minty liquorice freshness. Beautiful persistence, superb balance with good ageing potential thanks to the new addition of Mourvèdre in the blend. Wine aged in oak barrels.
An iron hand in a velvet glove. Hand-picking at dawn on our 70-year-old plots of land.
A wine for laying down, can be kept for up to 8 years.
Goes well with all red meats, game and soft cheeses.
