The colour is sparkling, straw yellow with bronze highlights. The nose: this wine reflects a spring freshness where the floral aromas of chenin (lime, acacia), citrus fruits (grapefruit, lemon) and candied fruits blend together. In the mouth: the attack is straightforward with a nice aromatic continuity. The slight nervousness of the sour granite apple slightly reduces the final roundness.

Domaine du Petit Clocher is located in Anjou in the heart of Haut Layon between the main roads of Saumur, Angers and Cholet. The vineyard is located at the crossroads of the two geological zones: the Armorican Massif and its schists bringing a beautiful minerality appreciable for its whites and the end of the Thouet watershed made up of eruptive rocks giving the terroirs a great precocity resulting in beautiful maturities in the wines and....

A laisser respirer 30 minutes après ouverture. Millésime très beau et Anjou, ce qui donne des chenins bien mûr. Un nez à la fois minéral et rappelant le miel. Une bouche vive et tranchante en attaque, puis une belle matière en bouche, apportant une sensation de puissance. Une finale simple repartant sur la vivacité. A ce prix, pourquoi se priver ?
