Domaine Eblin-Fuchs - Pinot Gris Vieilles Vignes - Blanc - 2016

A beautiful golden colour and subtle, particularly winy aromas are the first impressions that Pinot Gris gives in its youth. Its generous character, its delicate and sweet fruitiness evolves over the years towards a full-bodied and heady fruitiness. The palate is rich, full and generously aromatic: Magic reminiscence of fruit and under autumn woods, candied quince, figs, dates and currants, dried fruit and oriental scents bloom fully on the palate.

Older vines give less grapes but better quality grapes, that could sum up the name of these vines dating from the sixties. Indeed, the roots undertake to probe deeper and deeper into the subsoil. And clearly expresses the expression of their geological ancestry.
