Oscillating between cherry and purple with impressive purple reflections, the Classic Red owes its pretty colour to the Syrah, a grape variety that gives an important blue component to the wine. The robe is clear, the disk very brilliant.
The nose is clean and straightforward, with a sequence of aromas ranging from blackberry to liquorice, a hint of peppercorns, and an interesting fresh touch; one might say mentholated, but it also evokes the eucalyptus leaf rubbed between the hands.
The palate is round and supple, reminiscent of black cherry with a return of the famous peppery note, typical garrigue style of the Syrah of Languedoc.
The balance is perfect, with melted tannins that give this wine a remarkable fruitiness and freshness, the signature of the best that the Pic Saint Loup terroir has to offer.

Our prices decrease when the number of bottles increase
We are reducing the price of bottles from 24 bottles ordered from the same winemaker. And the more you take the more prices fall! To set the price, we look at the total number of bottles you order from a single winemaker. For example, if you order 12 bottles of 3 different wines from a winemaker, you benefit from the price for 36 bottles of the 3 vintages. Important: These decreasing prices are only available for orders delivered in France.
