This vineyard comprises two parts, one from Vosne-Romanée to the combe de la Serrée, the other towards the Midi. Shades of colour appear among the wines. Under a twilight purple colour, intense and sometimes mauve, red often evokes rose and liquorice. Youthful aromas: cherry, strawberry, blackcurrant. Maturity: leather, truffle, fur, game. Notes of macerated fruit (prune) complete the bouquet. Vigorous and full-bodied, it has body and chewiness, on a balanced and structured structure. It is only natural that it should be served with meat that is both tasty and virile, roast lamb, prime rib of beef, duck breast. Gourmets also serve it with some fish such as a carp in red wine sauce. Finally, soft cheeses with a washed rind such as epoisses, langres or soumaintrain.
