The colour of a deep and velvety garnet, alive, announces a wine full of strength. The nose confirms this intuition and feels this contained strength, which is expressed by notes of sap and ripe grapes. The aeration reveals hints of smoke and black cherry marmalade. On the palate, aromas of coffee, bitter dark chocolate and pepper float on tannins that give the wine a certain rigidity. It can be drunk now, but it is reasonable to expect an interesting evolution in the next ten years.

This family vineyard, managed by Etienne, is composed of a mosaic of grape varieties that makes it unique. This legitimate return to his roots for this former photographer allows him to revive childhood memories at Domaine la Casenove. His credo is to offer us wines marked by his imprint, while keeping a faithful image of his terroir of Roussillon marked by a sharing between vineyards and wildlife.
