Its tannins are enveloping, its aromas are powerful, with very ripe fruit (blackcurrant, cherry), liquorice and dried flowers, with small smoky notes at the end of the mouth. We observe a beautiful fullness which combines with accuracy the richness of the matter and the freshness of fruit.

Tasting

When ?

To soften it and develop its aromas, this wine can be kept for 15 years. To be served between 15 and 16 °C after one hour of aeration in a carafe.

How ?

Ideal to accompany red meats. Its ripe and velvety tannins will absorb the bleeding of the dish. Try it with grilled prime rib! A more mature Marie, 5 to 10 years old, will be wonderful with dishes in sauce such as a good homemade Boeuf Bourguignon.

The Wine Estate

The Domaine Lambert, created in 1987, is located at the place called " Les Chesnaies " in Cravant-les-Coteaux. Cabernet Franc (for the red and rosé wines) and Chenin (for the white wines) are the two grape varieties worked on the estate. Pascal, the winemaker, cultivates about 17 hectares in Cravant-Les-Coteaux and Chinon. On the estate, organic farming has been practiced for nearly 20 years. Since 2005, the vines have been worked in biodynamic culture.
