Intense garnet-colored, the nose opens with aromas of candied cherries, then evolves into spicy notes. The palate gives the amplitude of a Pommard de garde with present but nevertheless supple tannins.
In Burgundian dialect, the 3 Follots means the 3 almond trees. And indeed, the rising sun orientation gives the grapes of this plot a very beautiful maturity, guaranteeing great complexity on the palate.
To be drunk from 2020 for its deliciously "kirched" red fruits. Keeps for about 15 years. On young wines, remember to decant the bottle an hour before tasting.
Perfect on the traditional Burgundy stewed pot.
