Pale yellow colour, with green tints. Fresh fruit nose, between citrus fruit and white peach. Nice volume on the palate, a balanced and fresh wine. To drink young.
Montrose Chardonnay has a beautiful personality. It is an elegant wine. We prefer stainless steel vats to barrels to preserve its freshness, fruity aromas and minerality. It perfectly represents the balance we seek in our wines.
Each terroir is vinified separately. The grapes are destemmed. The juice is obtained by skin maceration and direct pressing. Then, the musts are cold clarified before fermenting between 15° and 18°C. The wines from the different terroirs are blended after fermentation and then matured in stainless steel vats. They are bottled in winter and spring.
Serve fresh as an aperitif or at the table with seafood, fish, white meats.
