Domaine Saint Roch - beaumes de venise cuvée des taus - Rouge - 2016

On the nose: black fruits: prunes, blackcurrants, blackberries,... Then after that ventilation of kirsch fruits and leathers In the mouth very nice roundness beyond the complexity, followed by of splinters of fruit flavours linked to the spices that come line the mouth. The final is done in a beautiful length all in finesse, without letting one side appear strong and alcoholic

The word of the Winemaker, :

Harvested at optimal phenolic maturity, followed by destemming and cooling for cold pre-fermentation (5°C) to extract the colours and aromas of the fruit, then fermentation for about a month

Contenance : 75cL - Contenant : Bouteille

The Wine Estate

The estate being on several communes; concerning the Beaumes de Venise two terroirs stand out. A silica and saffron from Miocene which is particularly dedicated to the Muscat de Beaumes de Venise. Then the second, based on trias which is a red clay suitable for red Beaumes de Venise. On Vacqueyras, there are also two terroirs: grey clay and limestone ,for the second it is made up of rolled galleys... For the Côtes du Rhône, we know how to use it...
