Although it is always criticized, it is the Carignan that best reflects, in vinification, the freshness that clay keeps and the idea that I have of wines from here with my Burgundian sensitivity: I find there my dear aromas of blackcurrant, a certain acidity on the palate, a very fine tannic structure... Straight and elegant wine, crispy with small red fruits and a delicate tannic structure.

I like this straightforward, fine wine with an elegant tannic structure and crisp fruit flavors. The idea was born in 1998, but it was not until the following year that this pure Carignan wine was born. It is, in my opinion, the best expression of the Aspres terroir, the vines in the middle of the garrigue, the clay soils that counterbalance the effects of the wind and the sun.
