The colour of the wine is on amethyst, with purple highlights. The nose is expressed on floral notes, iris and blackberry. On the palate, red and then black fruits give way to spicy, slightly peppery notes.
100% Gamay on old vines over 75 years old. The exposure of the vines with a south-south-east exposure gives it a beautiful structure and character. 50% of the harvest is put in oak barrels for a few months to give it roundness and elegance during the harvest.
The peak of the vintage is between 3 and 10 years old, serve it on the 15°.
You can also put it in the cellar for up to 20 years.
