The colour is deep ruby with purple tints. The olfaction is dominated by the fruity character reminiscent of Burlat cherry aromas, blackberry, but also floral on peony, old rose. The attack on the palate is supple, the flesh is crisp, offers a beautiful density by the maturity of the vintage with round tannins. The finish is persistent and mineral,

Brouilly is a wine dedicated to gastronomy because of its balanced constitution and in contrast to "body-builded" wines with heavy and tiring alcohol.

When ?

This wine allows for a wide and varied range of culinary combinations, from the most classic "bistro type" to special occasions. Ready to enjoy young and until 2021 for optimal maturity.

How ?

We find a very wide range of wine pairings: White meat, cheese, red fruit desserts.

The Wine Estate

The vineyard is made up of two great Protected Designation of Origin wines, 30% of which are classified as Cru Brouilly and the rest as Beaujolais St-Etienne La Varenne. The preferred grape variety is Gamay noir with white juice, which takes root in a soil composed mainly of granitic arena (small granite grains with a sandy appearance)... On hillside plots, the surface is more composed of stones and granitic scree...
