A brilliant, intense purple color. A subtle and elegant nose, with aromas of ripe black fruits and licorice, subtly mentholated. A balanced structure with powerful but supple tannins. Good length in the mouth, with an intense finish. Hand picked, grapes de-stemmed and patiently vinified. Laure and Jean-Jacques blend Syrah and Cabernet-Sauvignon, after an ageing period of 14 months in oak barrels (1/4 new barrels, the rest from 1 to 4 wines).

Excellent ! Un délice que je recommande. Je vais guetter la prochaine cuvée.
D'abord les fruits noirs mûrs et la réglisse suave, une touche de camphre qui apporte la fraîcheur. La bouche s'ouvre ensuite sur un bel équilibre sur des notes de cuirs bruns, de bois précieux, la ronce de noyer, le tabac blond enrobé d'une note de cassis et de mûre juste cueillie, gorgée d'arômes. Les tanins sont souples, la longueur intense avec une belle tension qui promet un immense vieillissement
Allier deux très belles maisons avec la fougue de leurs auteurs dans un mariage Bordeaux-Rhone et que dis-je Barsac-Cornas, quel plaisir pour les papilles. Alors oui, c'est un ovni qui ne rentre pas dans les cases d'une appellation ou d'une autre mais qu'importe quand la justesse et la précision sont au rendez-vous! Clairement taillé pour la garde, ce flacon est une grande dame au style charpenté, élégant et taillé pour le temps. Je recommande d'en prendre 18 et d'en ouvrir un flacon jusqu'au 18ans du dernier né afin de voir évoluer le vin, se voir fondre les cépages EST-OUEST de cette rencontre. Amoureux de Syrah et de Cabernet, voici une cuvée qui met tout le monde d'accord mais qui vaudra aussi mille belles discussions sur la part que nous aimons le plus... a bientôt pour en rediscuter!

The accord is made thanks to the Cabernet Sauvignon extracted by punching down during the vinification and which binds to the finesse of the Syrah which benefited from delicate pumping over morning and evening for a month.
