Le Chai d'Emilien - espiègle - Rouge - 2017
10€20

It is a very fruity wine, rather light for a Languedoc. We are here on fresh fruit, very young. Cinsault brings this freshness, well tempered by syrah, which still offers a nice length to keep the distance over a meal.

The word of the Winemaker, :

L'Espiègle is the modernity of the cellar, the ardour of youth and the carefree nature of adventure.

Tasting

When ?

It is a wine of conviviality, it can be drunk as an aperitif or with a meal. It is not reflected, at an unannounced dinner or when you want to offer a wine without knowing the person's oenological tastes.

How ?

Ideal as a refreshing aperitif with tapas, with a meal with grilled meat

The Wine Estate

The estate consists of 30 hectares, spread all around the commune of Sussargues. These are parcels that have been bought over generations, some by Emilien's great-grandfather. The soils are all varied, some in rolled pebbles, others clayey-limestone, or even both within the same plot. These are for the majority of the regional grape varieties (syrah, grenache, cinsault, sauvignon, chardonnay...).

The opinion of Ambassadors

 @quentin-nicard

Espiègle, un vin qui porte bien son nom ! Malicieux, ce vin léger et fruité nous a surpris par sa longueur en bouche très agréable. Parfait pour accompagner un apéritif dînatoire !
