A wine resolutely focused on fruit with its garnet-red colour. The first nose is marked by aromas of black fruit, blackberry, black cherry with hints of oregano, liquorice and spices. One finds a beautiful volume in mouth, the wood is well melted, the tannins of the grenache remain very silky. Vinification in concrete vats and truncated cone vats with 12 months ageing in barrels, no new wood. The structure of the Syrah supports the suppleness of the Grenache and the sands bring a beautiful length in the mouth, all in finesse and elegance.
A Châteauneuf-du-Pape typical of the Saumades terroir!
