Maison André GOICHOT - Château du Cray et Domaine les Guignottes

In 2015, the Goichot family took over the exclusive distribution of Domaine des Guignottes, located in Saint-Valerin, near Buxy in Côte Chalonnaise. The estate covers 10 hectares including the magnificent monopole of Montagny 1er Cru Les Resses. We produce the following appellations: Bourgogne Aligoté, Bourgogne hautes Côtes de Beaune, Montagny and Montagny 1er Cru for the whites; Bourgogne Pinot noir, Maranges and Santenay for the reds. Then in 2016, the Goichot family took over the reins of this lovely estate, owned by the Perret du Cray family since 1798. Château du Cray has a 25-hectare wine estate located north of Buxy, in Saône-et-Loire. The vines stretch around the château, in the middle of the hillside, and benefit from a privileged east-south-east exposure. The estate benefits from an exceptional monopoly: Le Cornevent. The appellations are as follows: Bourgogne Aligoté, Bourgogne Chardonnay, Montagny 1er Cru and Mercurey for the whites; Bourgogne Pinot Noir, Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Beaune and Mercurey for the reds.

Our story

Founded in 1947 near Meursault, Maison André Goichot is one of the most renowned wine merchants in Burgundy. Established in Beaune since 2000, as one of the last family businesses, the history of the House continues with the 3rd generation. Owner of Château de la Guiche since 1979 in Montagny, the estate expanded in 2015 through Domaine les Guignottes with 10 hectares of Bourgogne Aligoté, Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Beaune, Montagny, Montagny 1er Cru and Santenay. In 2017, we completed our estate with the 25 hectares of Château du Cray near Mercurey. In addition, the development of our negociant activity has allowed us to build several strong partnerships in the most renowned Burgundy appellations.
