Raised with little new wood (10%), our Gevrey-Chambertin is representative of its terroir. Full, expressive on the nose, its mouth is dense but already very accessible. The balance on the palate and a nice acidity give it a nice length. The wine expresses a pretty bouquet of sweet spices, ripe red fruits and refreshing floral notes. The material is present but subtle.
The word of the Winemaker, Arnaud Boué :
The great Combe de Lavaux, which opens onto the village of Gevrey-Chambertin, offers this appellation a great diversity of soils and personalities. Our Gevrey-Chambertin, from the "La croix des Champs" terroir, is greedy, dense and elegant.
