Crémant de Bourgogne, produced partly in the Beaujolais region, and complying with quality charters similar to Champagne… We’re confused! The most important thing to remember is that these white or rosé wines meet very strict standards that guarantee a constant quality to these wines which must be drunk young.
In 300 communes, the champagne model is imitated, with varieties such as chardonnay or aligoté, gamay and pinot noir, as well as melon de bourgogne. This sparkling wine with persistent bubbles on a golden yellow background, and on the nose white flowers and citrus fruits announce the freshness of this crémant. On the palate, depending on the blend of grape varieties, the wine can be fresh and lively (white whites for example) or powerful (white blacks for example).
