Nos vins du Pays d’Oc
Tous les vignerons du LanguedocL’appellation Pays d’Oc se trouve dans la région du Languedoc-Roussillon, le long de la Méditerranée, sur quatre départements : les Pyrénées-Orientales, l’Aude, l’Hérault et le Gard. Leur Indication Géographique Protégée met en valeur la qualité et le travail minutieux de leurs vignerons. IGP Pays d’Oc est une appellation majeure du vignoble du Languedoc (90 000 hectares). Les vins sont fruités et novateurs et trouvent leur place à tout type de table. Ils sont reconnaissables par le climat Méditerranéen très ensoleillé qui leur apporte leur particularité.
La plupart des hommes et des femmes du Pays d’Oc sont très attachés à leur territoire, les vignerons travaillent avec passion ; ils dirigent eux-mêmes leur exploitation, s’occupent de la vinification, élèvent leur vin et le mettent en bouteille à la propriété. On retrouve comme principaux cépages dans les rouges IGP Pays d’Oc le Cabernet-Sauvignon, le Merlot, la Syrah, le Mourvèdre et le Pinot Noir. Les blancs eux, sont principalement composés de Chardonnay, Muscat, Sauvignon, Viognier et Vermentino, tandis que les rosés sont composés principalement de trois différents cépages ; le Cinsault, la Syrah et le Grenache (plus de 50 cépages en tout). Pour les rouges, le Cabernet-Sauvignon est le cépage préféré des français (cassis, cerise, bois de cèdre…). Pour les blancs, le Sauvignon arrive en tête des avis (notes d’agrumes, vivacité et fraicheur). Le Cinsault est celui qui a le plus conquis les français du côté des rosés notamment grâce à sa couleur très claire. Les vins du Pays d’Oc offrent une palette de cépages unique. Avec tant de variétés de cépages (56) mais aussi, les différentes zones de production qui affectent les cépages de façon différente en fonction des sols, de l’exposition ou encore des reliefs ; permettent de créer une large gamme de produits différents les uns des autres. Cette grande diversité de cépages fait la richesse du Pays d’OC car les possibilités de combinaisons de ceux-ci sont multiples, il est donc possible de modifier les assemblages afin de proposer des produits bien différents. Le Languedoc-Roussillon représente l’un des plus grands vignobles du monde mais possède également une culture très riche. 3ème région touristique de France avec 14 millions de visiteurs chaque année, la vigne représente une grande partie de l’activité de la région. La culture régionale est ancrée également par l’occitan (langue d’Oc), parlée dans le tiers sud de la France ; région linguistique connue sous le nom de l’Occitanie ou bien Pays d’Oc. Vous connaissez donc maintenant l’origine de l’appellation viticole du Pays d’Oc.
