If you walk in this part of the Rhone Valley, you will have your senses awakened: the breathtaking landscape, the smell of lavender, the bleating of lambs, the taste of black truffles and… the wine of Grignan les Adhémar!
Mistral wine blows all year round on this largely sunny terroir, whose soils are very dry in the south and more humid in the north. Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carignan and Cinsault are the main grape varieties in red with a minimum of 30% Syrah. The production is also made in white and rosé, with viognier as the main grape variety. The wines should be drunk young to enjoy their generosity in the fruit and aromas!
