Our Chablis cuvée "Les Vieilles Vignes de Sainte-Claire" comes from a single plot planted in three years just after the Second World War: 1946,1947,1948. Producing small, rich grapes, its yield is a little lower than normal. The nose on the 2015 vintage is very aromatic and the palate is very round. It is a wine that will be very well served on its own as an aperitif or with fish dishes or white meats such as poulard with morels.
Produced from a single plot of Chablis Vieilles Vignes planted in 1946,47 and 48, this exceptional wine is my finest tribute to the artistic talent of my spiritual father, Louis Petit, who humbly transmitted his knowledge to me.
Perfect for family meals or with friends, both on simple and elaborate dishes. Consume now and up to 7 years from now.
Superb on mushroom pies, quiches but also on dishes made with shellfish, fish, rabbit with mustard and also on dry goat's cheese.
