The "Wine of Friends and Great Tables". Very young with its intense purple colour, this wine plunges you into the aromatic universe of blackcurrant and blackberry from the very first nose. Particularly elegant and persistent notes, evolving on sweet spices at the end of the palate and carried by a tannic structure with a very fine grain.

The Wine Estate

Organic wine estate around an old restored Catalan farmhouse, Mas Baux is located on a superb terroir: a quaternary terrace between Perpignan and Canet-en-Roussillon, a stone's throw from the Mediterranean on a site several thousand years old on the edge of the ancient Via Domitia, a Roman road that linked Italy to the Iberian peninsula by crossing Gaul. The grape varieties allow us to offer organic wines, produced with low yields.

Une bouche ronde et soyeuse, il est difficile de reconnaître la Syrah si on n’est pas prévenu. Une longueur classique. Je le testerai bien sur du porc noir par exemple.

Une très belle profondeur, très agréable, je le dégusterai bien avec un beau magret et un chutney de poire.

De beaux fruits rouges charnus et délicats, un nez un peu sauvage que j'adore. Un vin que j’amène sur des calamars à l'encre.
