Aligoté Bouzeron with no added sulfites

Bouzeron | White | 2023

With meticulous winemaking, this white wine is made from Aligoté grapes grown in clay-limestone soil. The 30-year-old vines yield 50 hl/ha. After a prolonged fermentation in barrels with indigenous yeasts, it is aged for 14 months. No sulfites are added, thus preserving the integrity of the grapes. Bottled directly at the estate in Savigny-lès-Beaune, this wine combines freshness with a pronounced minerality.

Our opinion on the vintage

Let yourself be seduced by this Aligoté white wine with its aromas that are both fresh and rich. On the nose, delicate notes evoke white fruits and a subtle floral touch. On the palate, vivacity is expressed with a distinct minerality that combines with an unexpected richness, typical of the Bouzeron terroir. Its crisp texture and slightly briny finish give it a unique character, perfect to enjoy on its own or with raw shellfish. Its purity and balance make it a wine that is both complex and approachable.

This approach aims to preserve the natural expression of the terroir, without seeking artificial effects or technical overkill.

The Pinot Noir grapes are vinified using gentle extraction techniques, favoring the finesse of the texture and the purity of the fruit. The wines exhibit elegant profiles, built on clean red fruit and a measured length, with integrated tannins and great clarity. The white wines, produced in smaller quantities, display a restrained mineral tension and a precise texture, true to the character of the Côte de Beaune soils. The entire process is distinguished by a deliberate restraint and great precision of execution, offering wines free of artifice, built
