Shipping Policy

The Seller agrees to provide, via the Website, as detailed information as possible regarding the pickup location for the goods so that the Carrier can easily find it.

When preparing the order, the Seller must include a packing slip in each package.

The Seller agrees to take all necessary care in packaging the ordered Products to prevent them from being damaged during shipping.

The Seller plans to be able to affix an EAN code to its bottles at Les Grappes’ request when its customers request it, without any additional cost to Les Grappes’ purchase price

High-quality packaging is essential to ensure the safety of your shipment during transit. Always use sturdy corrugated cardboard boxes in good condition for your packages. For fragile or heavy items, we strongly recommend using double- or triple-wall corrugated cardboard. Avoid reusing old boxes, as they may have lost some of their rigidity. Choose packaging appropriate for the weight of your shipment. Avoid boxes that are too large, as they may get crushed. Select a box that fits the size of its contents. Never exceed 30 kg per box.

With regard to the delivery provider, there are two distinct scenarios:

For orders of fewer than 24 bottles, delivery will be handled by DHL, Les Grappes' logistics partner;

For orders of more than 24 bottles, and depending on the Seller’s location as indicated during registration on the Site, the Seller must arrange delivery through its own carrier or use Les Grappes’ logistics partner.

Shipping provided by the Seller

If the Seller uses its own carrier, the Seller shall be responsible for delivering the goods to the Customer.

For orders of more than 24 bottles, Les Grappes will reimburse the Seller for the actual cost upon presentation of the carrier’s invoice, up to a maximum of €1.20 (excluding tax) per bottle.

For orders of fewer than 24 bottles, the shipping quote must first be submitted to Les Grappes for approval before shipment.

In the event of damage occurring during the shipment of the Products to the Buyer, the Winemaker shall follow the instructions provided by Les Grappes, shall not handle claims from Buyers directly, and shall notify Les Grappes within 36 hours, as provided for in Article 4.

Transportation through Les Grappes Logistics

If Les Grappes picks up the goods from the Seller’s delivery location, the Seller shall be responsible for shipping the goods to the Customer.

In the event of damage occurring during the shipment of the Products to the Buyer, the Seller shall follow the instructions provided by Les Grappes, shall not handle claims from Buyers directly, and shall notify Les Grappes within 36 hours as provided for in Article 4. To prevent breakage, the Seller agrees to use high-quality packaging and assumes responsibility in the event that cardboard of a thickness unsuitable for parcel delivery is used.

In the event that a product is damaged during transport arranged by Les Grappes, if the damage is verified and acknowledged by the carrier, and if the recipient customer chooses to have the originally ordered products redelivered rather than receive a credit, then the Seller will be required to redeliver the Products to the Buyer. Within 48 hours of the damage being reported, the Seller will provide Les Grappes with an invoice for the damaged products. The Seller will be reimbursed once the carrier has reimbursed Les Grappes for the cost of the damage.

Pursuant to Section 3, the Seller shall notify Les Grappes of any absence that could interfere with the processing of orders for Products or Services. The Seller is required to report their absence via their Vigneron account or, if that is not possible, to notify Les Grappes by email.
