Wines under certification
This collection highlights winemakers committed to practices that respect the environment, living beings, and the consumer. Organic, biodynamic, in-conversion, vegan, or sustainably farmed wines: behind each certification lie concrete practices in the vineyard and the cellar, and a shared desire to produce more responsible wines without sacrificing pleasure.
These wines tell the story of a different way of working the vine, more attentive to the soils, ecosystems and the natural expression of the terroir.
Why choose a certified wine?
Choosing a certified wine means favoring:
- Viticulture that is more respectful of the environment and biodiversity.
- Practices governed by precise specifications.
- Greater transparency regarding production methods.
- Wines that are often more expressive, faithfully reflecting their terroir.
These labels make it easy to identify committed wines, while leaving winemakers with a great deal of freedom in style and interpretation.
The different certifications and procedures
The collection includes several types of certifications and wine-related processes:
Organic wine
Organic wines are made from grapes grown without synthetic chemicals. In the cellar, interventions are limited in order to preserve the natural expression of the grapes.
Biodynamics
Biodynamics goes further than organic farming by considering the vine as a living ecosystem. Its practices rely on natural preparations and respect for lunar cycles to strengthen the vitality of the soil and the plant.
Organic conversion
These wines come from estates committed to transitioning to organic farming. A conversion period is required before obtaining official certification, but the practices are already aligned with organic requirements.
Natural method
Natural wines are made with minimal intervention: indigenous yeasts, little or no added sulfites, and no oenological corrections. The result is vibrant, free, and often surprising wines.
High Environmental Value (HVE)
The HVE certification values areas that are committed to protecting biodiversity, managing water and reducing inputs, without being exclusively organic.
Sustainable agriculture
This approach aims to limit environmental impact while adapting to the constraints of the vineyard. Treatments are used only when necessary.
Terra Vitis
Terra Vitis, a label specifically for sustainable viticulture, guarantees complete traceability and responsible practices, from vine to bottle.
Vegan wine
Vegan wines are made without any animal products, especially during fining, guaranteeing a wine compatible with a 100% plant-based diet.
Varied styles, one shared philosophy
Contrary to popular belief, certified wines do not follow a single style. Environmental commitment does not homogenize taste; on the contrary, it reveals the diversity of terroirs and the individual sensibilities of each winemaker.
Tasting tip
Wines produced using natural or minimal-intervention methods can change rapidly after opening. Don't hesitate to decant them or taste them over several hours to fully appreciate their complexity.
