Nestled in the heart of Richelais, Domaine de la Garrelière has a unique expertise, having used biodynamic practices since 1993. This commitment translates into meticulous care of the land, fostering a harmonious environment and ensuring an authentic expression of the terroir.

Grape varieties: 50% Cabernet Franc / 50% Gamay

Born from the encounter between Geoffrey de Noüel and François Plouzeau, this wine is a blend of their friendship. Thus, half of the grapes are Cabernet Franc from Geoffrey and the other half are Gamay from François. This results in a pleasurable wine to drink with friends.

Our opinion on the vintage

Upon opening and after aeration, the nose is characteristically natural, blending reductive notes (which quickly dissipate) with spicy red berries. The palate is round, fresh, and fruity, with a supple texture and a slight effervescence that adds tension and vibrancy. The finish offers a lively chewiness with tangy fruit that lingers long on the palate.

La Garrelière

Loire | France

Domaine de la Garrelière is a family-run vineyard located in Razines in the Touraine region, managed by François and Pascale Plouzeau on a hillside vineyard benefiting from optimal sunshine and a diverse terroir. The estate covers approximately 20 hectares and has cultivated its vines biodynamically since 1993.

He produces red, white, and rosé wines under the Touraine appellation, using natural winemaking methods with indigenous yeasts and minimal intervention. Certain cuvées, such as the Sauvignon or the Gamay "Sans Tralala," illustrate the aromatic typicity and freshness of their terroirs.

The wines of La Garrelière are characterized by their frank expression, their balance and their ability to reflect the identity of the limestone soils and the natural viticultural practices implemented.
