Our first signature blend, created in collaboration with the winemakers.

Three vintages. A family of winemakers. A shared passion: crafting wines that are delicious, authentic, and meant to be shared.

After nearly 15 years working alongside winemakers and wine lovers, we wanted to take things a step further.

With Franc Jeu, we didn’t just select bottles—we helped create them.

We also simply wanted to treat ourselves. To create wines that reflect the spirit of Les Grappes: approachable, generous, unpretentious, and designed for moments of sharing. And above all, to treat you, too—whether you’re choosing wines for your table, your cellar, your restaurant, or your customers.

Franc Jeu, this is our way of taking everything we’ve learned about wine, winemakers, and your preferences and putting it into three bottles that reflect who we are.

Why " Franc Jeu "?

For nearly 15 years, we've been listening to the people who make wine—and those who drink it.

Every day, we talk with winemakers, taste their wines, and advise restaurateurs, wine merchants, and wine lovers on their choices. This position at the heart of the industry has taught us one thing: wine evolves, and so do desires.

But above all, she taught us that a great bottle of wine begins with a relationship built on trust. We’ve always sought to work openly with winemakers: to speak frankly about market expectations, respect their expertise, build projects together, and give everyone their rightful place. There’s no question of overshadowing the people who make the wine behind a brand or a label.

We were asked for fresh, delicious wines, easy to share. Bottles with meaning, but without moralizing. Wines that are simply good, beautiful, and in keeping with their time.

So we decided to take on the challenge.

Franc Jeu It was born out of this desire: to combine our understanding of consumer expectations with a winemaker’s expertise, within a transparent partnership where decisions are made together. From the juice to the blend, each of us contributes our expertise, shares our thoughts openly, and stands behind the decisions we make to create the wines we ourselves would love to drink.

A true co-creation

Not just a label on a bottle. A wine we created together.

To bring “ Franc Jeu ” to life, we partnered with the Paux-Rosset family, owners of Château La Négly, in the La Clape region.

Alongside Marion Paux-Rosset and Camille Raymond, the family's oenologist, our teams tasted a pre-selection of juices, exchanged ideas, tested and adjusted the blends directly in the vineyard.

With a simple idea in mind: let the fruit speak for itself.

Freshness. Brilliance. Balance. And above all, pleasure from the very first glass.

Franc Jeu is the result of this convergence of two areas of expertise: the know-how of those who make wine and our understanding of those who taste it.

The winemaker creates.

A delicate and refreshing rosé: 60% Grenache, 40% Cinsault
A juicy and rich red: 80% Cinsault, 20% Grenache

The perspectives of those who created and tasted it

What we appreciated about Les Grappes' approach was their ability to understand market expectations without ever losing sight of the essential element: the wine. We worked together from the juices themselves, focusing above all on preserving their natural expression and balance. A genuine, uncompromising collaboration.

Above all, we wanted wines that would make you want to come back for more. Plenty of fruit, freshness, and deliciousness, but also precision. Approachable wines without being simplistic: you open the bottle, pour yourself a glass, and it works immediately.

franc jeu is all about clearly stating what goes into the bottle. We wanted wines that are good, clean, and beautiful—without compromising on any of these three pillars. We drew on what our customers tell us every day to draft our own specifications, including the decision to use a reusable bottle. We then issued a call for proposals to develop a visual identity that would live up to this ambition, and worked hand in hand with a winemaker who shares our exacting standards to bring these wines to life.

Play " Franc Jeu" until you reach the bottle

Good wine. And the common sense of reuse.

Creating our own wines was also an opportunity to ask ourselves a very concrete question: what should a bottle of wine designed today look like?

For us, reuse had to be part of the solution from the start.

Franc Jeu 's bottles are therefore designed to be returned and reused. This isn't just an afterthought, but one of the project's core principles.

Because playing franc jeu also means trying to do better whenever you have the chance.

A bottle that doesn't take itself too seriously

Wine is serious. That doesn't mean its label has to be.

To give Franc Jeu a visual identity, we entrusted the artistic direction to Alice Bottigliero and her Bordeaux-based agency, Forme Brute.

A human, sensitive and assertive graphic universe, designed to translate the spirit of the project: accessible without being banal, joyful without being gimmicky, contemporary without forgetting what's in the bottle.

Let's play Franc Jeu

Imagine a great wine before crafting a compelling story.
Work with the winemaker, not in their place.
Respect the fruit and what each vintage has to offer.
Make reuse the heart of the project.
And create bottles that you simply can’t wait to open and share.

Because playing franc jeu also means trying to do better whenever you have the chance.

That's what " Franc Jeu" means to us.
