Vin de France | Red | 2022

This wine showcases meticulous and respectful winemaking, characterized by the absence of added sulfites. The Cabernet Sauvignon undergoes cold pre-fermentation maceration, while the G14 is directly pressed and aged on its fine lees. The Soreli and Muscat grapes are fermented using gentle extraction methods. The clay-siliceous terroir and organic vineyard management contribute to an elegant structure and a silky texture.

Our opinion on the vintage

At first glance, the wine shimmers with a ruby-vermilion hue, punctuated by subtle orange highlights. The nose is an explosion of aromas: Morello cherry and rose intertwine, enriched by delicate spices and hints of orange peel. On the palate, the experience is equally seductive, with a full, round, and delicately fresh texture. A complex interplay of floral and fruity notes unfolds, while the chalky, dense finish develops an enchanting richness of red berries, rose, violet, incense, and bitter orange. This wine offers a harmonious tasting experience, as captivating as it is elegant.

Languedoc | France

Jeff Carrel's work in the Languedoc region focuses on vineyards that are sometimes neglected or challenging, revitalized through a pragmatic approach to winemaking. Carignan, Grenache, and Syrah are cultivated according to the specific plots, resulting in wines that are sometimes juicy, sometimes more structured.

The winemaking process remains intentionally simple, in order to preserve the rhythm and character of the wines. Some cuvées prioritize immediate enjoyment, while others emphasize a more assertive structure. The entire range is distinguished by a direct, accessible style, clearly expressing the Languedoc landscape.
