Our opinion on the vintage

This wine awaits you with a brilliant, pale gold color, already hinting at its finesse and maturity. On the nose, it reveals delicate and precise aromas of candied lemon, marine notes, and damp chalk, promising a rich sensory experience. On the palate, it's an explosion of flavors: a majestic roundness and breadth, supported by remarkable crystalline freshness. The superbly balanced finish reveals a Triple A citrus character, manifesting with lively acidity, subtle astringency, and a pleasant bitterness. A lingering finish prolongs this refined sensation of chalk, citrus, and spice, leaving a memorable impression worthy of the finest Loire wines.

Languedoc | France

Jeff Carrel's work in the Languedoc region focuses on vineyards that are sometimes neglected or challenging, revitalized through a pragmatic approach to winemaking. Carignan, Grenache, and Syrah are cultivated according to the specific plots, resulting in wines that are sometimes juicy, sometimes more structured.

The winemaking process remains intentionally simple, in order to preserve the rhythm and character of the wines. Some cuvées prioritize immediate enjoyment, while others emphasize a more assertive structure. The entire range is distinguished by a direct, accessible style, clearly expressing the Languedoc landscape.
