Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo 2024

Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo | Pink | 2024

This Abruzzo wine is carefully crafted from the Montepulciano grape variety. The grapes come from vineyards situated at an altitude of 230 meters, enjoying a southeast exposure. The harvest takes place in early October, and the winemaking process is characterized by initial fermentation with contact with the skins, followed by gentle pressing. The process is then controlled in stainless steel tanks, preserving the freshness and intensity of the aromas throughout production.

Our opinion on the vintage

This wine boasts a vibrant color, somewhere between vermilion and crushed raspberry. On the nose, it seduces with generous aromas of Morello cherry, redcurrant, and strawberry syrup, punctuated by notes of white pepper. On the palate, it offers brilliant freshness and remarkable aromatic intensity, where explosive fruitiness predominates. Its supple and luscious texture, marked by a tangy tension, concludes with a delicious finish enriched by a noble cherry pit bitterness. A bracing wine that lingers pleasantly, reminiscent of an elegant grenadine.

Jasci

Abruzzes | Italie

Azienda Agricola Jasci is a family-run estate located in the Abruzzo wine region of Italy, nestled in the clay hills around Vasto where the Jasci family has cultivated vines for generations. The estate was one of the first to convert to organic farming in the 1980s, well before this method of cultivation became widespread in the region.

The vineyard covers approximately 12 hectares and includes grape varieties such as Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Trebbiano, Pecorino, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon. This diversity allows the estate to produce a full range of white, red, and rosé wines that reflect the character of Abruzzo.

The winemaking process respects the typicity of the grapes and the terroir, with aging adapted to each cuvée, offering balanced, fresh and expressive wines, at the best value for money, reflecting both tradition and family passion.
