Rosso di Montalcino 2020

Rosso Di Montalcino | Red | 2020

This wine is made exclusively from the Sangiovese grape, grown on three separate plots and meticulously vinified in stainless steel tanks. The use of indigenous yeasts and a controlled fermentation temperature give this wine its authenticity and richness of flavor. After maceration for 15 to 20 days, it is aged for 22 months in oak barrels, which allows it to combine structure and freshness while highlighting its youthful and fruity character, with a touch of salinity and earthiness.

Our opinion on the vintage

On the nose, this Sangiovese exudes an abundance of ripe red fruit, accompanied by subtle notes of undergrowth and minerality. On the palate, it is a wine that is both vibrant and well-structured, offering lively flavors and a refined texture. A youthful rusticity is evident in a touch of salinity, which blends harmoniously with earthy aromas typical of its Montalcino terroir. The finish is persistent, underscored by a balance between freshness and depth, promising aging potential while remaining approachable now.
