Blanc de Noirs Reserve

Champagne | White | NM

The Blanc de Noirs Réserve cuvée is non-vintage and blends several years of Pinot Noir to reflect the typical expression of the Côte des Bar, transcending annual variations. The grapes are carefully pressed, the juice lightly clarified, and then fermented in tanks or barrels depending on the profile of each plot. Extended aging on the lees brings finesse and balance to the wine, while also refining the bubbles. A measured dosage allows the minerality to fully express itself. The result is a luscious, pure, and elegant Pinot Noir from Champagne!

Our opinion on the vintage

The nose opens with notes of ripe pear, Reinette apple, and small red berries, quickly followed by hints of almond, orchard blossom, and a subtle touch of brioche. On the palate, the attack is clean, then the texture becomes chalkier, supporting a core of white fruit and crisp red berries. The fine, precise effervescence unfolds the wine with lightness. The long, mouthwatering finish returns to citrus, punctuated by sweet spices and a subtle hint of damp stone, a signature of the terroir.

Anecdotes from the Estate: The Estate's History. The estate, a former abbey dating back to 1831, includes the tasting room where we are delighted to welcome our guests, and the cellar where our wines slowly age. Everything is done by hand: the wines are stored without air conditioning thanks to the thickness of the chalk walls, and riddling and disgorging are still carried out manually. The Estate's Pride: In Champagne since 1961, three generations of winemakers have succeeded one another on the family estate: Jean, the founder; Jean-Louis, his son; and finally, Damien and Florence. Respecting Champagne traditions, they tend this 4-hectare Premier Cru vineyard in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. The careful distribution of the three Champagne grape varieties across our estate allows for a refined and delicate blend of wines. All of our plots benefit from favorable exposure and terroir in the heart of the Montagne
