This wine is made from 100% Pinot Meunier grapes, carefully cultivated on the clay-limestone soils of southwest-facing slopes. The estate, currently undergoing organic conversion, employs environmentally friendly viticultural practices, with meticulous work in the vineyard and particular attention paid to winemaking. The grapes, pressed in a traditional press and fermented in stainless steel tanks or oak barrels, benefit from optimal ripening, allowing for an authentic and pure expression of this grape variety.

Our opinion on the vintage

The nose of this cuvée is a bouquet of freshness, with subtle aromas of white fruit and a floral touch. On the palate, the texture is delicate, almost silky, revealing a fine minerality and a complexity that unfolds deeply with each sip. The remarkable balance between finesse and intensity, typical of Pinot Meunier, is truly appreciated. The bubbles are fine and persistent, lending a certain elegance to the whole. A cuvée that charms with its precision and authenticity, revealing the exceptional terroir from which it originates.

In the heart of the Marne Valley, Bourgeois-Diaz explores biodynamic viticulture with a rigor reflected in the purity of its Champagnes. The dominant grape variety, Pinot Meunier, displays unusual precision: bright fruit, fine bubbles, and consistent tension. Extended aging on the lees adds volume without heaviness, creating ripe yet vibrant balances. The wines exhibit a tight texture, with a finish that gains density with aeration. A sincere, straightforward style that demonstrates the depth Meunier can possess when crafted with exacting standards.
