Our opinion on the vintage
Vin Marchesseau
The Vin Marchesseau estate is a family property located in Bourgueil in the Loire Valley, managed by brothers Bertrand and Vincent Marchesseau since 2001. The vineyard covers approximately 20 hectares, spread across the Bourgueil, Chinon and Saint-Nicolas de Bourgueil appellations, offering a diversity of expressions of Cabernet Franc on clay-limestone terroirs.
The estate's philosophy is based on environmentally friendly agriculture and a conversion to organic viticulture that has been strengthened over the years, with a commitment to producing high-quality wines that combine tradition, rigor, and consistency in style. Vinification and aging are carried out with great care to reveal the typicity of each plot and the natural structure of Cabernet Franc.
Vin Marchesseau wines are recognized for their aromatic depth, freshness and balance, honoring the classic style of full-expression Loire reds, while integrating an ecological approach and modernity in the winemaking process.
