Our opinion on the vintage

This wine reveals itself with a garnet robe that elegantly captures the light. After natural aeration, the nose delicately expresses itself with notes of red and black fruits, enriched by floral nuances and a hint of spice reminiscent of incense. On the palate, the wine seduces with its roundness and generous fruitiness. The tannins, smooth yet slightly firm, provide a charming texture. The chalky and persistent finish reveals the character of the terroir with flavors of black cherry and cocoa, enveloped by a touch of spice. A tasting experience full of freshness and pleasure that concludes with a mischievously indulgent finish.

Gaïa Wines

Péloponnèse | Grèce

Gaia Wines is a Greek winery founded in 1994 that has established itself as a benchmark of modern Greek viticulture, with vineyards spread across the island of Santorini and the Nemea region of the Peloponnese. The estate cultivates iconic indigenous grape varieties such as Assyrtiko, Agiorgitiko, Moschofilero, and other local varieties, striving to capture the pure expression of the Greek terroir.

On Santorini, volcanic soils and marine influence produce precise, mineral white wines, while the vineyards of Nemea produce deep, structured reds with agiorgitiko, often vinified and aged with care to enhance their complexity and aging potential.

The estate also offers innovative ranges such as the Gaia S series which combines the characteristics of local and international grape varieties, while promoting rigorous viticultural practices and the link between wine, culture and landscape.
