Domaine Tripoz

The Morands

Mâcon-Vinzelles | White | 2023

Les Morandes is a cuvée from a single vineyard site where the limestone soil imparts a beautiful minerality to the wine. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified without chaptalization using indigenous yeasts. Aging on the lees for 10 months in stainless steel tanks brings richness and a silky texture, while gentle filtration ensures remarkable purity and aromatic precision. This wine is particularly well-suited to pairings with seafood dishes.

Our opinion on the vintage

Freshness and elegance reign from the very first sniff, where delicate notes of seafood are enhanced by a subtle mineral touch. On the palate, this wine reveals a silky and vibrant texture, imbued with a minerality that gives rhythm to the whole. The presence of the lees brings both complexity and depth, balanced by a great freshness. Ideal to enjoy with oysters or a seafood platter, it evokes the sea and its salty breezes with finesse.

Tripoz Estate

Domaine Tripoz

Bourgogne | France

In the Mâconnais region, Domaine Tripoz cultivates its vineyards biodynamically, on clay-limestone soils characteristic of the sub-region. Vineyard work aims for natural balance and optimal ripeness, in order to preserve the expression of the grape varieties and terroirs.

Chardonnays form the heart of the production. They exhibit ample and structured profiles, supported by a consistent tension that provides balance and length. Aging is carried out with precision, alternating between tank and barrel depending on the cuvée, with the aim of complementing the wine's character without weighing down its expression.

The Pinot Noirs, produced in smaller quantities, yield wines with bright fruit and a fluid texture, emphasizing suppleness and drinkability. All the wines are distinguished by a remarkable consistency, with precise, balanced, and approachable wines that remain true to the Mâconnais identity.
