At Puzelat, the aim isn't to correct the wine, but to guide it. Producing Gamay or Menu Pineau in Touraine thus becomes an exercise in controlled freedom. The wines often display a very open, almost juicy fruit character, but underpinned by a thread of acidity that keeps them balanced. They are unique and unlike anything else. This has been the house's signature for decades.
