Avignonesi

The Avignonesi estate is located in Montepulciano, Tuscany, and traces its origins to the early 20th century. Over the decades, it has established itself as one of the leading producers in the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano appellation, showcasing the history and identity of this region.

The vineyard spans several dozen hectares, spread across hills with clay-limestone and sandy-loam soils. Sangiovese, known locally as Prugnolo Gentile, plays a central role, complemented by other traditional grape varieties of the region.

For several years now, Avignonesi has been committed to organic and biodynamic viticulture, with a particular focus on soil health and meticulous winemaking practices, in order to produce wines that are true to their origins.
